There's been a lot of work to make sure minorities fight each other. Pretty pathetic, as far as I'm concerned- as the ones who fight the others end up being oppressed by the one telling them to disagree and fight. Here in Michigan, it's really clear when you see ads where black men are so upset that VP Harris wants to provide access to transition surgery to prisoners. And they make sure that they put the illegal immigrants in those prisons. For Puerto Ricans, a vast majority of them were brought up Catholic. Meaning they have an inherent dislike of LGBTQ and abortion. My in-laws would make fun of both groups.
It's frustrating that it takes really blatant racism for them to see that the "support" of single items like that very much no help to them- so just additional oppression of one kind or another.
Let alone the single item voters think that their single item is so important they both ignore the obvious (like Harris being a legal gun owner and Walz being a hunter- meaning both have no intention of ending the 2nd) and all of the tiny items that are actually more important for them to vote for. Worse is when they betray their own "morals" to defend their voting. Like joe- he's super anti abortion and anti LGBTQ, but to get that specific support to end, he has accept the person he voted for abused multiple women, he's fracturing families at the border, etc. Which has turned into a slippery slope of actually turning your back on what Christianity really means.Comment
