Largely run by who? Try again.

Early 2000s. Around the time of the Marshall Mathers LP. I think they mocked him on Howard Stern or some other radio show and he fired back and so on. Obviously ICP won

Other than the direct offensive nature, the other thing they all suggest is that they are doing the surgery to all illegal immigrants.

Let alone the picture of the illegal immigrant looks suspiciously like an African American. Similar to the Rogers ad that suggests that illegal immigrants are working in hotels- which will make it really hard for the people working there. And the accusation that Harris supports "they, them..." where as dumpy is "us".

I hate watching those ads. Just makes the entire election about personal identity and nothing else.

Go ahead and write another story about young males and nonwhite voters charging hard toward Trump, while continuing to ignore the far larger, far likelier to vote female population is, um, not charging hard toward Trump.
Nevada is trending weird right now though.

Its early voting everything is running weird right now. It is fun and frustrating to try and watch "analysts" break down why numbers are the way they are based on one specific stat. Like a story I saw out of NC where "Republicans are early voting in higher numbers" but the breakdown was 1/3 GOP, 1/3 Dem, 1/3 Unaffiliated. They seemed to ignore the 3rd group or what it might mean it was just doom and gloom over the other 2/3rds. Then they pivoted to saying its because Rural Black Voters havent voted yet in numbers expected because of the Trans stuff with no real evidence to back it up. I wonder if there might be other reasons rural voters in North Carolina might be having issues early voting...not to mention there was no mention of gender breakdown in any way.

(I havent seen anything out of Nevada because I am not actively looking for anything and never open my SM apps)

It is weird that women are being ignored so heavily and part of that is how they vote historically. Despite at least the last 4 cycles proving that trying to use historical trends means you are going to be off significantly they all still seem to be going with the historical trends to try to predict something that is not predictable. I mean it is one thing for us to play that game but pundits and professional pollsters should be over that stuff by now. Previous trends don't matter anymore this election is weird and upside down. There is just no way to know the effect certain issues will have on getting people out or voting one way or the other. Assuming low propensity voters will come out (they are low propensity for a reason) or that certain demographics will stay loyal and true is impossible at this point. Even party affiliation isn't really a reliable indicator right now because of the various issues. I get there is a need to fill content and scare the bejesus out of the voters on every side but this stuff amounts to trying to explain who will win a game 2 weeks out when we don't know who will even be playing for each team, what the weather will be like, what the conditions of the stadium will be or how the games in the interim will play out. Weird to watch.

            • Funny thing just came in the mail- there are some proposals in the city election, which we've not really looked into a lot, but had some idea.

But an r mailing told us exactly what to do!

The mailer has dumpy on it and how he wants us to vote. So we do opposite. Very easy.

Thank you "Making Michigan Great" PAC.

              These people are so dumb.

r's are not elected in this city for a reason. Mostly because you are not serious candidates and offer nothing, but now that you are siding with the idiot that wants to destroy the country, just more reason.

People are anxious and a bit scared about the election so they’re trying to find some good news, and the media just wants clicks.

This is starting to feel a bit like 2016 but in reverse. All the pollsters and media are overly focused on trying to account for Dump’s voting bloc that they’re missing a key group.

                  • Even John Kelly pulled out the Conservatives don't like what happened under the Biden administration.

What happened that was so terrible? I can't see anything. He didn't fundamentally change anything about the country. Meanwhile Trump is out to destroy it.

Kamala hasn't proposed anything that would destroy the country. If she did, Kinzinger and Cheney wouldn't support her.

I am so tired in a center right leaning country to hear the right crying all the ****ing time about how they don't get their way, and what Democrats do destroys their way of life. Meanwhile Dobbs has fundamentally changed women's lives in a more drastic, dastardly way than anything the Democrats have done since post FDR.

Yeah I agree with all of this. Ironically Alex Jones seems to have figured it out by accident when he sent one of his tools to the University of South Carolina to interview women on who they sets voting for and all of them said Abortion is their top issue and all but 1 said Harris without hesitation. (The 1 was undecided until Abortion was brought up) The two best were the one who corrected how he said Harris' name and the one who said in response to his sarcastic "so you love her huh" comment "this is an election I don't have to love anyone it's about issues" or something similar.

It also feels like this is a bit of 2022 where the media believed that "crime" was the #1 issue but never really liked first into anything becausec polling backed it up.

I will say, as much as I dislike the guy Harry Entin or whatever his name is on CNN at least is trying to find other threads. His breakdown of Trump's losing steam with uneducated White Men was solid. No idea of his numbers are real but his analysis was pretty good. The guy is still up his own arse though and I don't trust him. Honestly I don't trust much right now it's all hypothetical.

                              • The one thing I can see holding ground in Suburbia is gonna be the Cost of Living remaining high over the last few years. And the blame for that for many is directed at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. instead of Wall Street.

And Harris has openly pushed that she wants to go after the corporate greed if elected. It's just a matter of if she can get the lightbulb to go off in those that are hardwired to vote R.
