They'll still have the apostrophe. Actually will have it even more now that their jerseys will just be A's or Athletics on the front.

He's one of those guys I could listen to just tell stories all day, but people really didn't seem to like him this year during the KC-NYY series. Saw a comment somewhere else that summed it up well that his style his from more of a bygone era where you could wax poetic and tell stories during the games, sometimes not related to the game going on in front of you, whereas now a lot of the commentary is more into the nitty gritty of mechanics and analytics.

      • Shohei got surgery on a torn labrum. They say he'll be back in time for Spring Training.

What would they say if Phil Rizzuto were still alive? :-)

It was obvious he wasn't swinging the bat well after the injury.

I’ve had that surgery twice now, in 2013, and again in 2018, two separate injuries. Either they’ve made HUGE advancement in that surgery during the past 6 years, or someone is blowing smoke up his ***. Six to twelve months, that’s what I was told both times, and a loss of about 10% in range of motion. I can’t play golf anymore, and won’t even consider getting my back into a hockey game.

How badly was yours torn? I think his was a fairly minor tear from the shoulder dislocation. Something more severe and I could see your experience. He also has the best doctors in the world looking after him.

My first year was pretty bad, top-front quadrant of the labrum. The second wasn’t as bad, but it was lower-front quadrant, which felt worse post-surgery and during recovery.

Montreal is back on the menu, boys! They're getting a brand new roof and everything.

Just need a statement from Bettman giving the Coyo---Rays full confidence.
