Some (not so) surprising results in the Top 10 on opening night...
No. 1 Boston University has to go to overtime to edge Bentley 3-2.
No. 2 Quinnpiac tied 1-1 with No. 6 Boston College late in the 3rd.
No. 4 Denver also tied with Alaska 1-1 (but it is still in the 1st).
No. 5 Michigan falls to No. 18 Providence 4-2.
No. 8 St. Cloud State tied with St. Thomas 4-4 deep in the 3rd.
Fortunately, No. 7 North Dakota handled their exhibition, squeaking by Manitoba 10-0 (had more goals than shots against). : pNorth Dakota
