Good win! The game on Thanksgiving might be worth watching.
A bad cause requires many words.

If the Lions win their next game, that's a streak.

See, that's exactly the problem. Even when they have been good, what have the fans actually gotten?

But yea, that line. And as frustrating as it was to see Mahomes run all over the place, the D is more like the second half than the first half of 2022. And the non Lions fans should notice the calls that tilted away from Detroit- like when Hutch was tripped and didn't get called, and the next drive a KC defender jumped over the running back that he leveled- and because they intertwined a little, he got a 15 yard tripping call. Or KC's tackle who lined up as a back- to get a better angle on the defenders- his head should be at least near the waist of the center. Or the number of clean holds that were only called when the defender was hauled down from behind. Thankfully, KC got so used to holding that they did it really badly on their last drive and had to get called for it.

Have you really never seen Major League? Or rather Major League II in this case.

That's true Lions fan optimism right there. One game winning streak. Awesome!

Kep- come to Detroit some time, you'll fit right in.

So I expect some to think this post is very sour grapes. But I have seen a few national videos pointing out exactly what I posted here- the holding and the too far back on the right tackle. And they add that the same tackle was moving his leg before the snap- which is not legal, too. The pointed out that it was a relief that the Lions won the game for the sake of the reffing.

Yeah the defense was what held them back last season, and it looked better last night. We will see how improved against Seattle next week. This is the first time in a long while I've been excited to watch the Lions. Still feels weird. :-)

I appreciated last 4 min of the game. The Lions finished the game like good teams do by getting first downs and killing the clock. They can run the ball. It is refreshing to see it after a decade+ of drop back and pray Stafford will carry them. They are different this season. As long as they can remain relatively healthy, they've got a shot at winning a playoff game.

                          Feels like a trap.

I've been a Lions fan since before I moved back to Michigan, and seeing them in Idaho is really hard. I remember listening to the playoff game they won on the radio when my brother and I went skiing during the winter break. That was the single major highlight of being a Lions fan in my +40 years of being a fan.

Lot of people who watch ESPN hope for that. A lot of that.

I am not watching that maudlin hypocritical chest-thumping garbage. You'll find me with the Muslims celebrating on the roof.
