Even better for people who enjoy seeing disfunction the the NFC E- it's been pointed out how hard it will be for Dallas to replace him given that McCarthy is on a one year contract- so whatever coordinators they get to backfill- they can't give them a decent contract. It’s funny how things can be framed. I was reading a pro-Hafley article that made his three bowl appearances in four years out to be a positive. It didn’t really go into his season records. I didn’t realize BC has been nearly perpetually 7-6 for a decade now. They are the Alabama of mediocrity.

I do like the OSU numbers. Hopefully it’s as simple as he just likes coaching football and not running a program.

As for Brady, this is also more than he was paid to play the game. His highest payout was $27M when he will average $37M.

Now the college players have the obvious degree to get when pretending to be a student- the payout is much better on TV than on the field. I would expect the same for former coaches, and the gig is more stable than being a HC.
