Shouldn’t have asked for seconds of the polonium pie.
If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

Huh. He wasn't exactly on my Who Will Putin Whack Next? Bingo card.

He's 68, so I assume he's probably just outlived his usefulness to Vlad the Failure. Perhaps Russia's been demanding a higher level of support & reinforcements than he's willing to offer.

Where’s that been reported, outside of Newsweek, which said its source needed more information? ISW didn’t cover it at all in their most recent edition.

Didn't Lukashenko have some issues earlier this month where he missed some events back home, but then was spotted sitting at Putin's May Day (not so) Extravaganza?

Sounds like it's just poor health catching up with him.

There are also new reports out hours ago that Lukashenko has promised "Free nukes for all" who team up with him and Putin.

So either it was just a minor issue at the hospital, or Putin is "Weekend at Bernie"-ing him.

Drone attack was on the Moscow equivalent of the Upper West Side.

Leveling that place would do a lot to improve life on earth.

                  Yes, either of them.

Just saw a clickbait headline on YT suggesting that South Africa may offer vlad immunity.

And you know what? I'm ok with that. If he JUST LEAVES and lets russia be a decent country- offering a better alternative to the west than just bullying their neighbors so they can restart- I'm totally ok with that. Better live an obscure life in South Africa than continuing to murder people.

They already did give him blanket immunity, at least for the duration of the upcoming BRICS conference.

I'm not saying that I hope he gets Eichmann'd (they'd never do that to the sitting leader of a nuclear power), but...

You know what scares the Russian oligarchy? The "West"'s ability to provide food, infrastructure, and indoor plumbing to the peasants.

This reminds me of fundamentalists furious that education, science, and secularism have produced a higher quality of life, which leads people "away from god."

Authoritarians need people to be poor, scared, and hungry.

What's that? Russia needs to formalize a final solution to Ukraine?

Where have we heard that before....

Union / Labor problems? Soon to be the fault of the US arming Ukraine, if Russia has their way.

The dam also provides water to the largest nuclear reactor in Europe, and even if it goes into emergency shut down mode, it still needs that water.
