Didn't Louisiana do something like that with the same result?

Wait... That seems to imply Texas is making it tougher for someone underage to make it onto those platforms... That seems..... Very unlike Texas, lol.

Also, there gonna be a lot of mad dudes in Texas this weekend....

Really? Some did. Doesn’t matter, though. No one wanted to do it and the opportunity to pull it off passed decades ago.

I love that from the picture it doesn't look like they even had planted real vegetation to prevent erosion -- they just loaded it with some sort of crabgrass.

Given the location, I assume the bids were decided by other factors than civil engineering studies. 3 bd run $1M.

    F-ck them all.

One guy had his tennis court destroyed. Probably need to get the major networks to host a telethon so we can raise the money to help these folks out. I bet NBC has a benefit lined up already.

Southern Maine coast has been blown away this winter, 4 plus big storms, each coming on a full moon and a southeast wind. Wiped whatever was in front of the rich and famous homes. The homes won't be there in a few years. The working waterfront has been decimated also.

    Peak Michigan.

The Michigan State Police must pay $475,000 under a judgment issued in a federal lawsuit alleging troopers violated the constitutional rights of six Michiganders with disabilities at an event on the state Capitol lawn in 2015.

The event, free and open to the public, was a 25th anniversary celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
