First, she reads the data in the wrong order.
Then, she tries to recover by saying a big number is a surge, without providing context as to what it was before. It's like if her husband got caught exposing himself to children in a bowling alley one week, it's not necessarily a surge in him getting caught doing that unless you know how many times he did it the previous weeks.

From what I saw in Durham's report, an assessment is something that is done before an actual investigation is opened up. During the assessment, the FBI is to consider the report that has just been made to it, check to see if there have been similar reports or intelligence information that suggests something similar to the report, assess the source of the report and any of that person's sources, their possible motives, etc...

Durham was critical because instead of doing an assessment, which is part of standard FBI protocols, they just immediately opened up an active investigation.

That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

Ok, so they - maybe - jumped the gun. And that's apparently the worst thing they found.

        Yeah. Good game, good effort.

How many organizations in any context or industry or business or government could take this kind of scrutiny and only show a bunch of what are effectively clerical errors and arguably poor judgement calls?
I gotta little bit of smoke and a whole lotta wine...

Well that makes it all worth it then...certainly not a waste of time and money. (And lots of false narratives and headlines) So very fiscally responsible on behalf of the conservative party...

Maybe next he can look into what color pens they used. Should take about 6 years...

So, all in all, Durham spent a ton of money, lost an incredibly pointless prosecution, and simply reported that things should have gone (slightly) differently.

            Good game, good effort.
FBI should have investigated whether they should start an investigation

            • Today we're pretending the Mueller Report never existed. When Title 42 ended we pretended the pandemic never happened. Every time they whine about school closings they ignore the existence of the pandemic.

I am sick and tired of everything they argue being without any context whatsoever. It's BS. If this were a debate club they would be eviscerated.

You say things like that, but the fact is that most of them were born to human mothers.

Not most. It's a genetic disorder. But some were and then devolved.

He was crowing on Twitter about how his ratings are destroying CNNs. Pretty funny!
