Munn actually flipped the benches this year because of renovations that flipped the home locker room to the other side of the arena. Because of the tunnel placement and to keep the penalty box advantage, they had to take away a couple rows of seats for a walkway behind the penalty box that leads to the bench. A little wonky and I don’t think any other arena has it so that the tunnel doesn’t lead directly to the ice.Go Green! Go White! Go State!

BTW, D3 also. Oswego's new building (which is as good as many D1 buildings, amazing facility) put the benches on opposite sides. Though I do wonder if that really is due to locker room placement. They only have two locker rooms on the home bench side, obviously, one for the men's team and one for the women's team, because they also have offices on that side. So, the visitor lockers had to be on the opposite side.Last edited by Russell Jaslow; 01-06-2023, 08:28 AM.Russell Jaslow
