Yeah with 2 great Ds, yards and points were going to be at a premium. Moreso with a 4th string QB. Allowing 14 points in quick succession is sorta-garbage time was very much not a good thing.

Yeah, if it were 14-7, this would have a different feel. 21-7 feels almost insurmountable; however, crazy things can happen and there is still plenty of time. I would be putting the ball in McCaffrey's and Samuel's hands as much as humanly possible.

Pretty much. Once the SF D gave them the two TD lead, it was almost impossible to keep up.

If they somehow manage to come back, Shanahan should be named coach of the year automatically.

I saw the blocker behind him, but I also didn't see a direct shove as opposed to trying to get to the kicker. They didn't need to block the punt, anyway- so just set up to block.

I really wanted SF to make this a fun game, but they are not.

Based on the Niners luck this year I’m surprised they didn’t dress an emergency QB. Not that it would’ve changed all that much.
