It'll make for a unique atmosphere for sure with the building being a 50/50 or 60/40 split, and being people that are true to the cause and want to be there. Sure, there will be some corporate people, but most will be actual fans.
It's never too early to start the Pre-game festivities

      • First thing I think of is that cheesy cheer we learned in HS- "we got the spirit, yes we do, we got the spirit, how about you?" going back and forth among 30,000 people on either side.

Yeah, that would be a good atmosphere. It's sort of like what Texas and Oklahoma do in football and Illinois and Missouri do in basketball.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

            Exactly.

You see the same thing in High School football in many places: Your state semi-finals are played in a jam-packed HS stadium filled to the brim with engaged fans. Then you go to the state finals where it may be the same number of people, but in a venue that is 20% full. It's all about atmosphere.

                  • Today's games will be fun, because I like the Bills* and Bengals and will root for whichever wins all the way through to the Super Bowl, and I dislike the 49ers and Cowboys equally but will root for whichever wins to beat the Eagles.

If we could only roll back and ban the forward pass, Yale and Harvard would rule again.
