Oakland and Macomb both submitted to the state, so I suppose that means it’s over. He wins with a 1601 margin. Likely not called yet because that’s within the recount margin, but I can’t imagine anything would swing that many votes unless there’s a lucky Antrim style data entry issue.

I'm sure Tucker and Co will come up with a new narrative by 8pm EST, but for now it seems to just be shocked silence...
They ruthlessly gerrymandered the fuck out of all the states that they could, harped on inflation and an impending recession, had a Biden approval rating in the 30s as recently as August, really did just about everything they could to distract voters from Dobbs with "CRT1!!11!", "Dems R ped0 gr00mers!11!!", and getting Carnival Barker Musk to buy the left's favorite social media site. All that and they still couldn't manage to finagle anything near the predicted "Red Wave". I guess all their ammo was like Putin's missile stockpile - smaller than believed and they blew their load too soon. ;-)

I could see the cracks in the MAGA wall beginning on Freerepublic a few weeks ago. The results of this election are cementing DeSatan's position as a serious threat to Dump as GOP Furher and kingmaker. This is only going to keep driving a wedge through the far-right, which is great.

As for DeSatan himself, he's proven to be a capable regional politician but time will tell whether or not he's ready for national primetime. He does not handle criticism or being put on the spot very well, IMHO.

There will be 8 million new young people of voting age in 2024. At the same time, there will be millions fewer boomers & above (old age does that.) The GOP is on the wrong side generationally. The Democratic Party needs to focus on the future & listen more to the young on policy.

I am enjoying the "it doesn't matter if we got a wave we won" narrative from Twitter bots.

Worst case scenario now for Dems...even if the Senate flips (which I dont see but lets say it happens) is the GOP either does nothing and just gums up the works meaning nothing gets done and the center gets pizzed OR they go all Trumper on the bit and take out their hatred of Biden and Dems with committees/hearings/terrible bills which go nowhere and then yet again the center gets pizzed. They needed a wave to pretend they have a mandate so they could pull their crap but these results just wont get it done.

I mean think about this...in a midterm election where inflation is high and the President is polling in the mid 40s they underperformed to this level. At best it is a pyrrhic victory and considering the governors races we took, the legislative wins and the blocking of abortion bans (not to mention watching the Election Deniers take it up the tailpipe) I am not worried about a damned thing for the first time in months.
