The whole district is fun. MAGAtard ranchers meet Aspen skiing milliberaltards. Pretty much every person in the zone is a sh-t, just for different reasons. But if NYT and Kos are correct Frisch should eek it out. Then the recounts will begin and the crazy will go plaid.

One more thing that caught my eye. I'm surprised they called IA-4. It's WAY closer than is normal for a called race. Plenty of outstanding votes and the outperform is under 5%. That's MOE territory.

Oh, and I know I mentioned NV statewide as a disaster, but it's not even in the same galaxy as NY bad. Those stupid motherfuckers cost us the house. Went from 19-8 to 15-11 all while Minnesota and Michigan took back their legislatures, defended the statewides, and held the congressional seats. Unreal. No new york politician should come within a country mile of the DNC. Just pure incompetence. Save for AOC who managed to increase her margin.

Does the Roaring Fork valley have much of a permanent population nowadays?

I thought that was one of the first areas that cleared out the locals when the vacation economy moved towards it's current status in the late 90's.

The courts and redistricting in New York is probably going to cost the Dems the House. Therefore, I blame Cuomo.

    8 PM Update

Big drops in AZ. Very little impact depsite what the news is saying.
Boebert's race got closer despite her deficit in actual votes going up.
Nevada's races got a tiny bit better, but only by a little. The thing that blows my mind is that the NV house races are all going D. Yet... statewide, no bueno.

    Final House prediction still 217-218.

Oooooooo Nevada at 81% now. Seemed to help the Dems a bit. We might get a sense of things here in a month or two.

Says there are 6,000 uncounted in Pueblo. Still not close to the 17,000 expected, but sounds like it's enough to put him over.
Always trust the locals more than the nationals on election night.
