I dunno. Having 28k people yell "Sell the Team" in unison causing the pitcher to think his pitchcom broke was a pretty powerful moment...

The A’s have won seven in a row and are now only 23.5 games back.

But more importantly they’ve propelled themselves off of historic futility. Now on pace for 44 wins instead of 31 when the streak began.

Holy sh-t. The Yankees just put in a late inning defensive replacement in right named Oswaldo Cabrera, and he looks like he is wearing a young Joe DiMaggio mask. It is striking.

They lit up Alabama with 9 HR's on Sat.

The Oregon-Oral Roberts series has had a couple good games. Game 1 ORU goes up 8-0 and Oregon chips away before walking it off in the 9th 9-8. In Game 2, Oregon goes up 7-4 in the 7th and ORU chips away and gets a walk-off ground rule double to win 8-7.

Also learning a lot about the hosting process when it comes to Supers. Tennessee and Southern Miss are both unseeded teams, but I figured there was still a 64 team S curve that decided who would host in that situation. Turns out that's not the case, at least not in this case because they were both the two seed in their respective regionals. Instead both teams submitted their bid and the NCAA decides who hosts, and they chose Southern Miss. Vols fans are not too happy about that. But just because USM hosts does not mean they get to be the home team. Instead, regardless of host, if there are two unseeded teams the home team is decided by coin flip, and Tennessee won that. So Southern Miss gets to host, but Tennessee technically has "home field advantage" if a Game 3 were to happen.

Related, Indiana State was a seeded team and was in line to host as they were facing unseeded TCU, but Terra Haute hosts the Indiana Special Olympics every year and did not have the room nor staff to be able to host, so they had to go on the road to Fort Worth. As a seeded team they got to be the home team without any coin flip, but they got swept 2-0 and were eliminated yesterday.
