Way better than some. At least they don't look like prep school date rapists or BYU AFROTC this time.

I assume every article of it has been made with Uighur slave labor, since Oceania has always been friends with Eastasia.

Looks like the US mens and womens hockey teams play all their prelim games at either 8am or 11pm eastern.

          Good plan.

I'm watching the USA women;s hockey game this morning. I thought NBC said they weren't sending any commentators to the Games and they just did a between periods interview and one of the commentators was there onsite.

The only thing I'm interested in about these winter games is the Japanese women's curling team. I'm sure mookie is as well.

What kind of cheese are you planning to put on top?

I don’t know how we’re doing spoilers (does anyone care enough at this point?), but it’s just a prelim game so here it goes…

Recorded the Canada-Switzerland game last night and was doing a bit of a speed watch this morning. Apparently NBC deemed the 8-0 score after 2 not competitive enough, so they bumped it from USA to Peacock. So that’s cool. Final ended up being 12-1, shots were 70-15, and from what I saw Canada probably should’ve won 20-1. They missed a ton of easy opportunities with nothing but an empty net to shoot at.

US beat Finland 5-1. Finland is supposed to be the definitive third best team, so if that’s the case, it’s going to take a monumental goaltending performance and a couple lucky shots to have this not end up another US-Canada gold medal game.

Game was 5-2. It's going to be an interesting tournament now that Brianna Decker is injured and out of the Games.

"Yellow fever" sounds so Old Pio but I digress.

I dated a Korean my first year in college and in my unhitched days those same years encountered several others including Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Filipino. The superiority was unleashed on multiple levels including intellect, sense of humor and steam, and from there I never looked back. They were not meek, dutiful nor lacking in opinion and assertiveness.

                          To each their own brother.

Oh, this isn't yellow fever. Chinami is just so dammmmmm cute. A bundle of joy on the curling sheet.

Watch a game. The whole Japanese team just has so much fun out there. When they won the bronze at the last Olympics, I think the other teams that they had beaten were just as happy for them as they were for themselves. They're just fun to watch play.

And Chinami is soooooo effin' cute.
