Is anyone testing randomly? I didn’t think so. I think it’s people with symptoms or those who have been exposed to a positive case

CO is reducing hours at it's largest testing site due to unavailability of testing supplies. We STILL can't test the people that need to be tested, let alone get ahead of it.

I think several small European countries did do random tests. Places like Andorra and Monaco.

Or maybe they did universal testing.

                What about them?

I'm pointing out the group of people who are the most impacted all over the country vs. the group of people who are dictating the response. There's a lot of people in between. I know there are R's who are trying to do everything they can to stop the virus, too. They will take time to impact, since they are not in the starting cross hairs.

African Americans and Hispanics are the worst hit of this- and they are not likely to be heard anytime soon, regardless of their suffering. They are real people- you know the ones that get the crappy jobs in the meat processing plants that had no protection and had to close due to the greed of the corporation not protecting their employees?

                          • I have now reached the point where if I see or hear someone talk about "Herd Immunity" with this disease I know they have zero idea what they are talking about. You dont go for herd immunity if you dont even know if the antibodies stay in your system past a few months. Whats next go for herd immunity for Strep Throat or the Flu?

And while most of the people saying that are Conservatives trying to spin the numbers...the amount of Liberals saying it is disturbing. The amount of Liberals who arent crazy Anti-Vaxxers saying it is even crazier.

                              • Our population is almost completely science illiterate. It's likely true in many places TBH. What countries can you think of where people are actually educated? The Netherlands. The Scandanavians. Canada. New Zealand. Switzerland. France. Japan. South Korea, maybe?

(So, France is even more ignorant than we are.)

In math literacy we are truly abyssmal.
