If masks had been mandatory in public since the beginning of March we have what maybe a quarter of the death toll? It is completely maddening. I don’t think we’ll be going out again any time soon.
I thought of this post again last night. I get told I am too anxious, too reactive by certain people in my family. I don't think it is reactive to be aggravated and frustrated. Your post was soooo validating

            • The woman from FLA who was fired for blowing the whistle about their reporting started a new webpage tracker for FLA. THis is one of the best ones I have seen. Wish they had one that was like this for my State. But then, my state has a DPH that has a page that for the most part is accurate so...

We went to a Home Depot in Littleton (way up north) and you didn't get in the store without a mask.

I'm sure FL will hide their raw data now. And Dump will probably try to arrest her for some Putin-style crime.

contrast that with Florida Dept of Heath version https://experience.arcgis.com/experi...8ddedb9b25e429

And Florida's has some interesting "data"- the last two days have had total of 2 deaths. How does that happen with a massive spike of positive cases? Especially since there was not really a spike in testing- there was an increase, but it's not the same. There's a clear pattern in the testing rates- with peaks every Friday and Saturday. But the positives don't follow that- they just keep going up.

Looking at the comments on the cruise board- hardly anyone is following the mask guidelines, and nobody seems to care. In spite of people dying and getting horribly sick.

I'm really thinking that we are not going to travel by air or sea for a long time. Too many people don't care about themselves or others.
