I think it's going to be good too. I plan on watching it.

I mean it looks a bit formulaic but I kind of dug the conceit. Frasier is now basically the douchey version of Martin and Frederick is the (not douchey) version of him. They don't have a relationship because of their differences and Frasier is trying to change that for some reason.

I like the idea that Frasier is a teacher, makes sense as a job at his age and he has age appropriate friends that are enough like him that it seems to fit.

The show will likely not be as good as the original, but people forget that the idea of a Frasier spinoff in the first place was not something that was met with "OMG THAT IS PERFECT!!!"so it might be better than the trailer makes it seem. Of all the characters from Cheers to get a spinoff Frasier seemed like the least likely. Funny part is one of the only reasons it happened and worked out the way it did was because of Frasier showing up on the show Wings. He enjoyed it so much that he said he wanted to do something with the creators after Cheers is done and the rest is history. It is why Frasier is so different than Cheers, which is also why it works so well.

I dunno - it looked fine and if they can flesh out the character interaction a bit more it might work. Plus I have a British neighbor that is exactly like Frasier and I hope I will find some material to use on him.

    Us, cheers fans:
you: it's just Frasier? Like no cliff? Or norm?
me: yeah, except his brother is just like him is there too
    you: wait, two frasiers? :-/
me: yeah. Low expectations for sure.

Yeah based on that trailer, ugh. You need Niles there. The way the play off of each other makes the whole thing work. With only Fraiser, it's just cringy.

Looks fine. I'll watch the first season for sure

Hard to know how you're going to react when you only know one of the characters.

Frasier trailer. I loved the original; still get a chuckle when I put it on once in awhile, but I'm not sure about this.

Looking forward to that. Still enjoying Wheel of Time. Glad I decided to check it out since a season 2 dropped.

And it turns out Billy Crystral does suck in real life. This is uncanny.
