Did anyone watch Feud: Truman Capote vs The Swans last night? I recorded the first two episodes. Looking forward to watching it. I know nothing about what it's about but it seems interesting. Ryan Murphy's previous season of Feud was excellent. I hope this is as good.

Truman Capote ingratiated himself into a small group of high society women in NYC back in the 1960's, I believe. He got invited to all of their little parties, and they pretty much confided a lot of dirt to him. He called these women "the swans."
I think his plan was to ultimately write a book about them. He started working on it, and a couple of chapters were published in maybe the New Yorker or Vanity Fair or something, and needless to say the women were not amused.
I think that's what this series is supposed to be about, but honestly I don't really know what happened, in the end. That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

End of an era - Sam Waterston leaving Law & Order
I was thrilled when it was announced Sam was returning as the legendary Jack McCoy when the series was rebooted. This year he was only in a scene or two - most likely due to the fact that he's in his early 80s. Tony Goldwyn is replacing him, and no disrespect to him but they should have brought back Linus Roache (Mike Cutter), Richard L Brooks (Paul Robinette) or Carey Lowell (Jamie Ross) to keep with the continuity from the original series. The reboot is nowhere near as good as it was - the writing is horrible. But I'm am L&O diehard and I will watch it till it's over.

Robinette would be awesome...but that character hates Whitey ;^)
I can't believe Waterston is leaving I thougIt he would die first!"It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

Of course I'm a fan of the Vikings. A sick and demented Masochist of a fan, but a fan none the less.

Bodies on Netflix gets a solid B+. Nothing super original as a time-travel mystery, but it's well-executed and acted. 6 episodes to set up the whole loop over the 4 time periods, slowly interweaving them together. Penultimate episode clarifies the loop from the antagonist's standpoint, and climax is predictable but satisfying.

I'm sure she'd have more success nailing Jello to a tree, but if she wants to..Facebook: bcowles920 Instagram: missthundercat01
