Killing Eve Season 4. Solid B. The first two episodes were dreck and caused me almost to not finish up the series. The last "two minutes" of the final episode were derivative, lazy, and unimaginative. Other than that it was a worthwhile season and worth watching just to finish it out.

Just powered through the second half of Manifest season four. It did a great job of wrapping up and had an end that was both clearly coming, yet surprising. They really drove home the religious fanatical aspect, and how extreme rhetoric about slightly different people "from normal," are treated by the rubes.

I loved the original Justified. Looking forward to the new series, too.
This is the first summer in a while that there isn't any cheesy network summer series I want to watch, which is good. It will give me time to catch up on streaming shows that I haven't had much time to watch the rest of the year. And with the Writers Strike and impending SAG AFTRA strike looming, I'm sure it will be a while for anything remotely interesting to come back to network TV. Watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel now. I may watch season 2 of Schmigadoon next. Not sure what else I need to watch. I should write them down when I think of them. I thought I saw a tweet a few weeks back asking people what series from Paramount + they should show on CBS. I recall a few years back they showed the first season of The Good Fight. I would love to see the rest of that series. And also, The Offer.Comment

Finally got around to finishing Ted Lasso. A great finale preceded by a strong second half to the season that saved a weak first half. I like that in the streaming era episodes aren't permanently kept to a 22 minutes (though season 1 kept to a pretty consistent length), but good lord were there were a couple storylines that dragged on for far too long and it felt like they existed solely to push them to 45 minute episodes.
Also got through the third season of Dave. I would welcome a season 4, but the final three minutes really made it seem like a series finale.Go Green! Go White! Go State!

S2 of The Bear has dropped.
Also found a series called Inifiti set in Kazakhstan about an accident aboard the ISS in which one of the astronauts seems to have fallen to Earth and from there the mystery ensues. E1 was great and I look forward to the rest. At only 6 episodes it should make for a an quick watch.
Also The Days from Netflix regarding the Fukushima nuclear accident was excellent.Comment
