  • My brother is walking the picket line today and Brett Goldstein just walked by him.

The president and CEO of Warner Bros. is BU's commencement speaker in a couple of weeks and there will apparently be picketers there.

She has that classical beauty look down just flawlessly. The Knick is initially set in 1900 and Perry Mason in 1932.

Yeah and if the Directors Guild threatens then it could get even more dicey. (not that I am complaining)

Songwriters should be watching this because they are screwed even worse by streaming.

Good tip, thanks. I love Mulaney.

I wish Trevor Moore was still alive. :-(

Between them, Louis, Chapelle, and a few others this is a golden age of comedy.

The opening bit was especially great.

                      I hope he stays clean.

Knowing what we all know about Louis I just can't with him anymore. He was the best though. (Saw him 3 times) Chappelle is great when he isn't doing his Joe Rogan shtick. Best stream of consciousness comic I have ever seen and a trip to see live.

Personally Marc Maron is my fave these days and no one rips fascists better. Meanwhile Chris Rock has fallen off the cliff of hackness. I made it 10 minutes into his recent special and couldn't believe how bad it was. He used to be amazing!

Agreed. I zoned out through most his live special, until the final few minutes when he discussed the Oscar slap. Really wasn't worth sitting through.

There were some good bits, like "you want to know if the baby is going to be Steph or Draymond", but yeah, not the solid hour of solid bits like in the 90s.

                              • Finished Perry Mason S2. Excellent. I'd like to see more. If they can maintain quality I think 4-5 seasons total would be about right.

Did anyone watch the Willow series? I was reminded of that recently. I enjoy the movie of course.
