      • The Night Agent. I gave it 1 episode but two major plot holes killed it for me. Too bad because while the premise is fairly cookie-cutter the cast looked promising. Nope - can't do it.

However Motel Valkirias about three down on their luck women that converge at motel and end up whacking a low-level crook thereby thrusting them into the crosshairs of a mob boss had an excellent start. Sorry I can't help anyone in the U.S. with which network to find it on but Ep 1 was great. Seek it out if you can.

Pilot is so winky it feels like a birth defect, but I give them credit for trying to do something intelligent and surreal. Actively hunting cult cred rarely ends well (cough Mrs. Maisel), but maybe they'll deliver. There were some good moments and some painfully sophomore hipster.
I saw a preview for this and it looked like there was just so much going on. I was intrigued but at the same time not sure if it would be worth my time. I'll be curious to see what people think of it and decide if I should come back and binge later.

I liked it. One of the fastest 10 episodes I ever went through.

Based on the pilot I think it is worth trying. It's definitely trying too hard to be clever, but that's far preferable to the smooth brainery of 90% of TV and 99% of movies.

It was so preposterous that he 1)Would ever be a suspect in the train bombing to begin with but also 2) He was obviously cleared hence not being in prison yet everyone treated him like he was in fact the bomber. Also how the eff did the "uncle and aunt" know they were being targeted, had several minutes to prepare and yet didn't do a damn thing to protect themselves? I had a hard time forgiving either and I'm forgetting one other smdh moment.

I have the ability to suspend belief in unimaginable ways so it didn't bother me.

I do too in many cases, but those really bothered me because they were right off the bat and soured me that stuff like that would continue. More power to you for sticking through it.

                            • I felt Perry Mason season two is about as good as it gets for TV. Wonderful show. I binged the last 2/3s of it Sunday.

HBOMax right? Did they release it all at once? I am currently going through Last of Us so Perry Mason might have to be next, especially if they released it all at once. I am waiting for Succession to wrap up so I can binge that too.
