The more I think about the Poker Face pilot the more I think they missed an opportunity. What if the entire first season had been the first episode's plot arc? I was thinking the same thing! I like the setting in the casino and thought that would play into that more. It's taking a little getting used to the episode set up - the set up takes way longer to get in gear, though I do like they replay it with her in the story. She's very good, though. Just read an article that stated that except for the 1st season of Rick and Morty, Roiland hasn't done anything except the voices. And he was even recording those at home. Harmon and writers apparently couldn't stand working with him. Harmon, it sounds like, may have actively hated Roiland. Apparently the same is true for Solar Opposites and other shows he's been involved in. Just does voices from home and isn't involved in any creative processes as no one can stand working with him.Comment
