Cannot believe after the abomination that was S3 that Westworld has made a S4.

I cannot believe that they have completely destroyed the greatest character ever created for Television. Destroyed in Season 3 and somehow the actress is still appearing in season 4. I have to say though that conceptually I like where season 4 appears to be going better than I liked anything from Season 3. Maybe season 3 was the unfortunate bridge to what Season 4 and future seasons could bring.

Dark Winds. 6-part series that takes place in Navajo Nation in 1971 New Mexico. A murder mystery thriller based upon the book that also inspired the 2002 film Skinwalkers. E1 was very compelling and hopefully the momentum carries through.

Apparently the author (a Kraut?!) wrote a gazillion mysteries in the Joe Leaphorn / Jim Chee Navajo Tribal Police series. I am going to give them a shot.

My wife has been watching Peaky Blinders, but I’ve not been around for a good chunk of it, so I’m just in the room doing whatever. I will say this, though, the use of modern bluesy rock has been a great choice. The contrast of the England in the 1920s and sometimes heavy, distorted guitar riffs give a wicked feel to the gangster show.

It's we quite good. You should watch it from the beginning. I have the final season on my list of things to watch soon.

I could never get into any American version of Iron Chef. The Japanese version was amazing. The flamboyant "chairman" (yes I know it was just an actor), the "celebrity" judges (one common judge was a psychic), the unintentionally hilarious innuendo used when describing dishes ("it's so creamy in my mouth and feels good in my throat") , the way the judges were amazed by the use of some American ingredients they thought were so unique and "luxurious", like ketchup for example (yes I saw an episode where they were amazed someone used ketchup in a dish).

A friend of mine ordered some DVDs of the original iron chef but they were not official. Someone just recorded them and burned them to DVDs (complete with menus and some episodes with commercials, others without; surprised they didn't have their identity stolen the website was so suspect). We used to sit and watch and make a drinking game out of watching them. Some episodes would get you REALLY drunk.

Yes, Alton is always a favorite for me. He does a good job as a host (and does well with Kristen too).
