Not all sports, MLS and the NWSL have easily taught that the bubble idea is working and the NBA and NHL are likely to further that.

To be fair, those two teams (and Orlando in the NWSL) f- up before the bubble.

          • Bubble is a laughable concept. It. Will. Not. Work.

Not unless you fly everyone to an island with months of supplies. Might has well be a condom with a hole or ten in it.

                    • Right now it's just a question of what league is gonna be the biggest C-F: MLB, NFL, or NCAA Football are out to a significant lead over the rest of the pack, but we are still early....

Bubble works for a tournament. It will not for a full season.

This. It works with a single location where you can bring the Cone of Silence down. Once you have travel between sites all of your participants are just waiting to die.

Who kills the most? My guess is the NFL:

                            1. Most athletes on each team, so they have an unfair head start
                            2. Worst union / worst slave labor conditions
                            3. Dumbest athletes (and all from LOL "colleges")
                            4. Worst owners and my god that's like choosing between NY subway rat nests
                            5. Most physical contact in the sport

Football hasn't passed the point of no return just yet however.... They can still walk away without a single issue for the most part. About as likely as winning the lottery two weeks in a row, but still possible...

NCAA football, if it goes forward. Bigger rosters, smaller spaces, and no player's union to push back.
