After learning about the statues I don’t mind the name, but there have to be about a thousand other ways they could’ve better incorporated the statues into the logo.

It's still a better football name (it has that testosterone derp) but I have always liked those statues and didn't know those were the name. That's more acceptable.

Spiders was right there for the taking. Dissapointing. Apparently there are "Guardians of Transportation" statues coming into town and that's the inspiration for the name and winged G logo.

Speaking of that G logo, with the wings it looks like Cleveland is the triple-A affiliate of the Angels....
