I’m assuming we won’t get game times till the NLCS teams are determined?

ETA: did MLB stop using the winner of the All Star Game to determine the World Series home team?

Cora will know right off the bat(see what I did there)if the 'stros are up to the old shenanigans.

I wasn't cheering for Chicago, but I definitely wasn't cheering for Houston. Meh.

    1. Buster Posey is very good.
    2. He's also had some great pitchers over the last decade to work with: Big Time Timmy-Jim-Jim, Cain, Bumgarner.

Robles pitched in the Wild Card game last week and did a good job. I was more curious last night as to why Cora took out Josh Taylor, who had a great 1-2-3 inning. Braiser didn’t get one out and gave up the tying runs. Let Taylor start the inning, see how it goes, take him out if necessary.

Sunday was great and wow it was electric and the walk off HR by Vazquez, the place erupted. Sitting in section 10 was very tense at times especially when Robles came in. I said to myself it's not a good move and sure enough the game was tied. I think Cora was very lucky that they won the game else he would have been rightly criticized for bringing in Robles who during the summer in a game got lit up for 2 HRs in relief. He was just awful.

But the ground rule double I had no idea as most people in my section thought the Rays took the lead until the rule was explained.

I was following the game on my phone last night, and pleasantly surprised they took the early lead but then the Rays tied it up. But luckily they won again on a walk off sac fly )

OK that was fun. And unexpected, no way I thought the Sox would get by Tampa.

Braves running themselves out of scoring is pretty funny to watch.
