The NYT article is comparing 2016 to 2020 registration counts in Pa, Florida, and NC. The biggest takeaway is that a lot of them aren't new registrations but changed; they voted for Trump 4 years ago even though they were registered Ds. Or the change is due to purges of the roles, which again don't indicate new voters but simply an adjustment of the old roles. -

I hope Ds learn what they can from the Lincoln Project, for two reasons. 1) They will not be playing for our side for long, and 2) They are f cking good at it. The part 2 "they" may be primarily ad agency talent, in which case Ds need to hire them away. If the talent (or perhaps just a gut level understanding of what works) comes from within the R Party, then we need to just figure it out. Granted, they have an easy target, but Dems do too and their ads are not as effective, IMO.Comment
