After listening to the Lincoln Project podcast about vote counting, I'm 90% expecting the election to be decided by the courts. The worst thing I heard which I hadn't already been aware of, is that the Trump campaign has already recruited "poll watchers" to invade every democratic-voting precinct in the country to verbally challenge EVERY absentee ballot signature on the chance to slow things down enough to give the courts a month or two to make the call, and 2) to get every ballot possible thrown out in those precincts because of imperfect signature matches etc. Keep in mind that while this is perfectly "legal", sometimes the signatures they are comparing to the one on your ballot can be 30 or 40 years old. Meanwhile the Dumpie worshippers have been trained to think that absentee voting is un-American, so their in-primate votes will all be eagerly tallied up by the complicit cable news on November 3, giving the buffoon a huge lead and ammunition to argue that the courts should just stop the "fraudulent" count.
So... vote anyway, I guess? But the voters won't decide the election.
