God, I forgot that they fired Bo Pelini after a 9-3 season too. I know his firing had as much to do with his personality as anything, but yeah. That's not a good look to fire him and Solich both after they both had >.700 winning percentages.Comment

Looks like when LIU moved to D-1 hockey they also moved (or already were) D-1 football. I used to go to CW Post games in the 70s. They were really fun and the team had snappy Packers jerseys. They now have grotesque baby blue and sickly gold monstrosities.

The boy has student season tickets for football this year. It might not be the top of the B1G conference but that kid is going to have so much fun. His dorm is slap dab in the middle of the best part of East bank, right near the bridge to West Bank, walking distance to Dinkytown, thinking about joining the engineering frat and he's even better looking than I was at that age.
