The agreement was always like this in America, from the dawn of broadcasting: 80% of the population were rural Christian vicious bigoted morons. They believed in their sky fairy and they hated everyone not like them, and you weren't allowed to do anything in public that made them mad. So, all the rest of us had to bend over and tip toe around. And it was like that all through the early days of mass media. The stupidest, most violent, most disgusting among us controlled public discourse from the late 19th century for at least 100 years. You could not curse or show a boob or talk about being a homosexual or portray an atheist sympathetically or point out the head-bangingly stupid inconsistencies of their iron age mythology or you were at best bankrupted and more likely subjected to violence or legal punishment.
But people became more educated, and the children and grandchildren of these people were exposed to more and more diversity even as the clods fought it by homeschooling and self-segregating, and the percentage of morons dropped to 70. And to 60.
And now, it's 50. We are on the tipping point. In many communities, these monsters are no longer in charge, and they don't get everything they want every second of the day. And they are freaking out, because like fascists in all places and all times they can only function as a unanimous mass and they cannot allow any other life to exist. Their world is ending, in the sense that hitherto, for their whole snowflake lives, all of us have put on a show for them because we knew they were too immature, cowardly, and weak to handle adulthood.
But now... show's over.
The world no longer fears the oppression of their numbers, so they resort to the oppression of their violence. That will hold for a bit longer, especially because our civilized culture produced a traumatized, unconfident first batch of free people who are terrified of matching weapon for weapon. But eventually even their violence won't save them.
If the Right stops now, they may be able to still have some backwoods reservations where they live out their circa 900 BC fools paradise of white supremacy and rape. They may keep Mississippi and Idaho and Kansas. But if the Right keeps on going the way they are, eventually our grandchildren will have no choice but eradication in self-defense.
The problem is it isn't the marketing people who have to deal with it...it's the 17 year old minimum wage employee. Why should they be at risk?
It's the same issue that existed with masks. It want the CEOs being harassed and attacked if was the under paid flunkies.
I agree with the points obviously, never cabe to boycotts. But also protect your workers they count too.

Retail is always on the front line for this stuff.
If I worked retail, I'd have a set of laminated cards printed up with the names, home addresses, and family members of the C-suite. When a customer started in on me aggressively I would say, "I agree with you completely. These are the people you want to see."

In what could be a two-for-one deal, there is push started to reduce/harness methane emissions from abandoned / shuttered oil wells by at least 30% AND extract lithium from the groundwater in enough volume to put the Mining industry out of business.
Lol good that fit is going to die under the weight of his arrogance!

I hope it works and it comes to fruition. But, I am always skeptical about stuff like this. It never seems like these huge environmental/energy breakthroughs ever get through.

Sounds fun, but accountants will be allowed to jump through enough loops to leave some guy that just won the lottery for 100m to become the richest person in the USA.
Fidelity estimates Twitter is now actually valued at $15 billion...that is not quite the $50 billion Musk paid but not bad right?
