Stretch run for hockey teams, tourneys coming up......
Continue.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Too many syllables in the middle line, by my count.
HOCKEY this weekend! (That I can get to from NYC by train.) Heading up to CT to check out Quinnipiac's new rink tonight (perhaps with some tasty tasty New Haven pizza included as part of the bargain), and then down to Princeton tomorrow (probably by train in order to avoid having to drive in the coming storm, which is almost certainly being overhyped by the forecasts but still just as well avoided).

Depends on if you count "aren't" as one or two syllables - everyone out here says it "Arnt."
New Haven pizza sounds delicious, and completely unlike New York style.
