My parents live in a 55+ community in Texas. Mom met a new neighbor last night. My mom asked if she'd joined any clubs yet. Response: the Republican club. Then went on a diatribe about how Biden allowed the pipeline in Russia (my mom asks why she thinks that, and that if Biden can control what Russia does he's pretty powerful). The woman also mentioned how she's glad people carry their guns in Walmart (it'll keep people safe), how she's proud to be a 5th generation Texan and that Texas has always been Republican.
