seriously what do you cons on here think? ESP the ones complaining in the mid terms thread- what are your thoughts here? It’s cool to tell Barnes and noble they can’t sell books that mention gay people?

god I ****ing hate this country
Anyone can sue anyone for anything. The trick is to successfully sue someone.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

            • You almost wonder if hell will freeze over and Pennsylvania's GOP will watch this endless primary of theirs (coming soon with recounts and lawsuits!) and actually update their voting practices past the late 19th century.

That whole area is super weird. You go from the hood to a super wealthy area in two seconds. West Roxbury was genuinely middle class/upper middle class 20 years ago but in today’s world it takes a lot of money to live there.

Read about extremism increasing in Mass and it doesn’t surprise me at all. The vast majority of kids won’t be able to afford to buy a house in the town they grow up in without tons of support from their parents.

That's Roxbury. West Roxbury is more like Arlington or Wellesley.
