I am shocked. Oh wait, I'm not. Glad to see this guy got driven out of Kalamazoo. Hopefully this will end his attempts to find future office in Michigan, but I doubt it.

It won't. He might still run for governor, especially if Cox doesn't. Could also see him eyeing a Senate challenge against Peters in 2026.

              • Related to the Edina discussion the other week…a person from one of richest hoods of Edina has posted on next door to blame all carjackings and crime on schools being so disrupted for last two years and wants MDH to apologize and be held accountable for the rise in crimes

                oh, ok then.

They are because she’s saying that the policies hit lower income harder and gave kids less to do so they are all out criming. She’s just veiling it under her fake concern. She has stated we’d all be better off if kids never left in person schools before vaccines which means she really hates teachers

                    • Indiana, Armpit of the Midwest, introduced a bill banning schools from teaching Nazis were of low moral character, banning teachers from excessive talking with students about suicidal thoughts (especially if the parents don't know), banned a few other things. Bill also declares teachers must post lesson plans for the entire year by X date for parental review, and if Junior's parents disapprove, the teacher must create a specific other plan for Junior.

Why would anyone teach in a red state?

                          • Indiana state senator takes the derp a step further to add that teachers need to be impartial when teaching -isms like Marxism, Nazism, and fascism.

Is this what an impartial take looks like?

"To understand the Holocaust, we need to understand where Hitler was coming from. Pretty soon you're all going to be applying to colleges. Imagine you get rejected twice by your dream college, and they add insult to injury by suggesting you instead apply to another degree program for which you appear to be more qualified. Now, wouldn't that make you want to blame a few people? Sure, in the end Hitler overreacted a bit, but the real moral of the story here is to never take no for an answer in your quest to make a name for yourself."
