Good. Ever since the Dream Team ruined the Olympics I have rooted for US hoops to lose every game by 100 points.

And he was a little bulkier than the other guys which was funny. Living in Norway makes you tougher than professional training is what I learned.

        - I liked the swimming color commentator, busting everyone's balls for their reaction time.
        - Is there a rule that the US men's swimming contingent each year have to have a combined IQ of 150?

He looked genuinely shocked that he was outrunning the German that was supposed to be the best runner in the field.

              • How long do they wait to pull the trigger and add Michael Phelps to the swimming commentary booth? Rowdy Gaines is…animated but I never knew he was was other than the overly excited guy on swimming broadcasts.

Apparently in the race the Tunisian won the jingo broadcasters mentioned him twice -- including that he had won -- while slathering all over you know who.

A perfect Summer Games would have zero US medals.

I mean it is an allegation. It would be pretty ****ed up if you could just accuse somebody of a crime and destroy their life.

                            • While we are talking coverage, has anyone else noticed that the team jerseys and hats have the country's name in English? Let alone in Arabic- seeing Russia instead of the same thing in Cyrillic or any other language sucks. Nothing like when the USSR said CCCP on them.

You'd think at least the countries would be listed locally in Japanese.

Way, way, way too much power to NBC.

Even when compared to instantaneous velocity of a football or hockey player?
