        You are correct of course. i was not sure if we counted the double dips in # of wives. I should have listed the marriage number at 8.

                  Not sure how many here are as old as you and I are and remember him. As a youngster, and an avid NY Ranger fan back then, I hated Toronto and Montreal. But only because they used to come into NY at MSG and beat us so often and so badly.

                    I missed him by a few years. The concept of a Maple Leafs dynasty, like the one in the 60s, is so bizarre.

                    In the 36 seasons from 1944 - 1979, the Leafs (9) or the Canadians (18) won the Cup 27 times.
