Although not famous for hitting the longest of home runs (but obviously for hitting more than anyone), saw him hit one in the center field bleachers in the old Polo Grounds in NY. I was fortunate to have parents who took me there often as they were huge NY Giants fans so I got to see some pretty famous and rare events at that oddly shaped venue. Saw Lou Brock do the same thing and although i do not remember it well, saw Joe Adcock do it also and was there when Stan Musial hit 5 home runs in a double header (which has been done a couple times since but perhaps never again now that double headers are so rare).Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor
