Dude, that was our playground in 1968. To my knowledge nobody was ever seriously hurt. OTOH everybody got very painfully but unseriously hurt with monotonous regularity, and that, well, taught us things.Originally posted by Slap Shot View Post

One thing we learned was that when somebody got hurt you dropped everything and helped, and were kind to them, and for that fifteen-thirty minutes you didn't think about yourself (which for a child is a miracle). I think we learned to be gentle more than we learned to be tough. So, who cracks the champagne for the occasion? I keed, I keed.Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
