Because the US Customs agent didn't like her answers. As a foreign citizen she isn't afforded the same rights of no-refusal-of-entry as a national.

Reading between the lines, it sounded like she came to the US to house-sit and cat-sit, and I speculate that she did not have a document that entitled her to work in the US. Hence, she was in custody while awaiting deportation and they needed to know everything, no, scratch that, just one particular thing about her medical history so they could provide for all her medical needs while she waited 6 hours for the next flight out of the country.
If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

The US was a layover. She was headed to Canada.

Huh. Guess he doesn't care to comment.

He's only "concerned" when he can take something some Democrat says, or some seemingly innocuous event or policy happening, and then twists it into "angry mean leftists are attacking good innocent Republicans. No wonder the country is so divisive, and Republicans hate them".

Doesn't say a peep about the things the party he supports is doing. He learned well from Susie.

NEW: NYT identifies 'Perla' — the woman who tricked migrants to get them to travel from Texas to Martha's Vineyard — as Perla Huerta, a former combat medic and counterintelligence agent who was discharged last month from the U.S. Army.
                Some interesting tidbits:

In litigation, court records show, Vertol was once represented by Matt Gaetz, now a Republican member of Congress and a close ally of Mr. DeSantis. Another lawyer whom the company used for a series of lawsuits, according to information first reported by NBC News, was Larry Keefe. Mr. Keefe is now serving as Mr. Desantis’s public safety czar, leading efforts to confront immigration issues.

Vertol and its leader, James Montgomerie, have also donated to Republican legislators, including Mr. Gaetz and Representative Jay Trumbull, who led the Florida House Appropriations Committee this year as lawmakers earmarked the money for a program initially intended to relocate migrants from Florida.
I am sure that is just a coincidence...

                            Four dates.

                            August 14, 1935 - Social Security
                            July 2, 1964 - Civil Rights Act
                            July 30, 1965 - Medicare
                            January 22, 1973 - Roe V Wade

That's why they hate America. Look at the record. They have been fighting all 4 of these things tooth and nail since 1980. And they've made significant inroads on all of them. The 4th is gone. The first and 3rd are bankrupt. And the second has been gutted once and is in the Courts again this term which starts today.

                              • I think this distinction is a fine way to split the Right about 50/50.

My answer to "why didn't he correct him?" is "where would I start?"
