Hi all, say a few years ago I saw a youtube interview from the late 80s (I believe it was on Oprah) where Trump was asked what party he would join if we were to run for president...and he said something like 'the Republicans, they can be convinced of anything' or that they're stupid or something like that. I might have found out about it here.
Does anyone remember seeing that?Go Gophers!

Here's a reddit that discusses many others who saw the video: https://www.reddit.com/r/politicalfa..._why_did_this/
Well oddly, there is zero evidence of it anywhere on the net (or wayback machine archives). Am I imagining this? Was every scrap of it scraped off the entire net?Go Gophers!

It was debunked and has been since at least late 2015. I remember my dad fell for it during the 2016 primaries, until I showed him otherwise.

Yeah. The People magazine article has been debunked a hundred times - yet the quote had nothing to do with People making any non-existent article easy to debunk. It was a youtube interview with Oprah in the late 1980s. And many people swore they saw the video as shown in the reddit link - and me too.
Anyways, so nobody has seen this video? I thought I had learned about it on a thread here.Go Gophers!
