Large data breech caused a massive dump of new data for hackers/phishers/etc. to dive through. This time though, it was the Covvy Contacts app, and their business card scanner app that appears to be the source. Covvy Contacts allows corporations to build up a giant database of information to create a wealth of data to better tweak their sales pitch to you (address, salary information, mortgage info, tax information). I'm sure a portion of it was already publicly avaialble, but this is a "one stop customer relationship management shop" of data in one place.

And I was not happy to see my personal e-mail which has been clean for 15 years finally get pinged on HaveIBeenPwned.com and lit up like a Christmas tree because of this.

As I'm sure you know, the standard for libel in American courts is extremely high. From what I've seen even the vast majority of Freepers know that Wohl is full of it, so basically nothing he's done has legitimately harmed anyone's reputation except his own.

The one slander suit I really wish had happened was Sandra Fluke against that fat fark Limbaugh. She wasn't a public figure at the time and he trashed her reputation nationwide.
