    just started Christopher G Moore’s books with Vincent Calvino as a Brooklyn disbarred lawyer living in Bangkok as a PI. Dated starting from the beginning but good reads. Mookie is on #3 and needs to order a next group to pick up this Christmas when back in the states

                    Schiphol is a very good airport but my god is it dirty. Coming from MSP is shocking.

                    edit: amending. The terminal we were in was effing filthy. Garbage everywhere. Chairs were disgusting.

                    the terminal we moved to was better. Still garbage everywhere but it's not questionable to sit down.

                            Vancouver has historically prided itself on its liberal approach to dealing with the homeless, which is closely tied to drug problems. That patience may be starting to run thin, likely because it has become a bit of a magnet. Maybe it needs Mpls' winters.
