It's Indy. Those folks will watch anything. I remember going to the first F1 race at Indy, and seeing all these fans with their sprint car and dirt track shirts and coolers. If it has four wheels, they come out.

the very definition of expanding the viewers.

To me, the irony of not keeping the race at Indy- it was the largest live F1 crowd by a huge margin. Although, it doesn't look that full....

So Austin was a better idea because it's so close to less people. The only real advantage is that it was close to Mexico so that it was easier for their fans to come up. And then do two races in a row.

You need to attend some vintage races. Although, it should be the super high end rich people toy ones that still race those cars. And their competitors.

Probably. I think the last car that gets me excited came off the production line in about 1957. Since then, everything looks like a Civic to me.

There is a great Vintage race next weekend at Watkins Glen… the home of road racing in America. Plus, as an added bonus, you can moon Russell as he drives-by in the pace car. :0)

The weather was less-than-desirable last year, but the folks involved with this event are so hard-core, they raced (yes, RACED!) vintage Bugattis in the rain. Nuts!… but awesome. You can check-out the cars up-close and talk with the owners, drivers, and mechanics (Kep - if you can control your arousal, of course). :0P

You can talk to the pace car driver, too ... as long as you don't moon him...

Right now, the weather looks perfect. 70s and no rain.

(I was stunned that even one, not to mention nearly the whole field, of Bugattis went out there in that rain. Each one has got to be over a million dollars. Love those cars of that era. I drooled all over them in the paddock studying them.)

That Ferrari battle was amazing the last five laps. And some Hammertime out of Lewis once he got past Albon to get out of the penalty.

Street race next, so hopefully that can throw some variables and at least give us a different Red Bull winner.

The first 15 laps of Sainz defending was great, too.

                              It was.

And can you imagine if Leclerc wiped out the team on that last lap?

Having been there when a Ferrari crashed out a McLaren and went onto win, the opposite of that, lol.
