Especially in the details that Ford will develop a new ICE and a 350kw electric motor.
I don't see this ending well. First, the last time corporate Ford got involved, it was a disaster. Second, I know of a massive amount of very talented and experienced ICE engineers who were told to retire about the same time I did- so the amount of knowledge isn't anywhere near what it was even 1.5 years ago. And third, while RBR has their own plant- it's a Honda agreement- so there's no chance any of the Honda IP will get to Dearborn.
I guess the good news for those of us who don't like RBR or Verstappen- there's little chance they win much after 2026. Horner completely forgot that Red Bull got a great deal on a team to make theirs completely because of Ford's failures. But it's pretty funny that Ford's last corporate team is back to being partially theirs.
I came on here specifically to see Mich's reaction to today's news.
You did not disappoint me. LOL

In this new era of F1 many of the teams and drivers of the past would not be accepted today (Ahem, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Jordan, etc). It’s best to stay off radar and if and when you get in work to change the culture.
speaking of, this bs muzzling of the drivers must end.

Two of the teams are mentioned as having major upgrades scheduled within the first month of the season. Why does that happen -- are they scheduled for the start but they run into problems in development?
Very spaced out schedule to start the year. Two weeks off until Saudi Arabia, then another two weeks for Australia. Then a full month for Azerbaijan, followed by no break for the Miami race.
