    Ebert gave it 3.5 stars.

Crap. Easy grounder booted. I feel shame. To be fair, they're the same girl -- BB is just twice as pretty.

                    • Diamonds are Forever is great! And Jill St. John is the GOAT Bond girl, end of conversation.

As for the terrible Craig Bonds, it's a matter of taste. I loathe what they did to the character, and even more what they did with M as in Mommy. I predict that will age even worse than Sensitive Bond.

Ever period has its cringe aspects which are invisible to the people of that period. The best that can be said for Craig Bond was he never went through America's fascist chic period post 9/11. But given how amazing the first half of Casino Royale is, the rest of his run as Bond is an enormous let down. Hopefully Black Bond or whoever will wipe away the memory.

campy bond wasn't very entertaining for me.

That's cause Quantum of Solace wasn't a Bond movie. It was a Bourne movie with 007 as the lead.

Also, it would've been markedly improved if they had ended Casino Royale with him and Vesper on the boat, and had the entire Venice scene as the pre-credits lead-in for Quantum.

It would've been markedly improved if Vesper never existed.

                              • I didn't have a problem with Craig's Bond performances. Somewhere there used to be a meme chart of the Bond characteristics/vices (womanizing, boozing, etc.) and how each take on Bond stacked up and emphasized different parts of the character. So depending on how you think Bond should behave, that plays into your impression of each actor's interpretation.
