The Holland ones are the best of the lot and it's not even close. Tobey Keith was a ***** and I hated his characterization, and the Garfield story lines were awful Although if Spidey is supposed to be snarky Garfield was the only one that pulled it off.
Redneck Spider-Man is not for everyone.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

I thought Garfield nailed the Spidey character, but his movies weren’t great. The first was okay, mostly because of Garfield, but number 2 was just something I know I watched but couldn’t tell you anything about it anymore.

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir

Obvious Oscar bait Western that tackles the topics of toxic masculinity, bullying, frontier "toughness", homosexuality in the 1920s, and, arguably, how someone potentially becomes a serial killer. The ending isn't a big punch in the face, but rather leaves the audience to piece together the foreshadowing hints throughout.
Co-worker had Ad Astra on last night. While I got where they were going, felt like it moved way too slow and tried to sound more intellectual than it needed to be.
