  • I loved The Suicide Squad! A+ and thank god they rescued the concept. Let's just all agree those amazing trailers led into this movie, and nothing else happened. Like Highlander 2.

No comments for a while while people see it, but I have much to say.

Very good, but the Moneyball music playing at a crucial part was a bit distracting.

I really liked it too. For me part of Dastmalchian's charm is being a "that guy" actor, but he continues to elevate his characters and chew up scenes even with his roles becoming larger.

He has done actual work on stage, apparently this stuff is just cashing checks so he can do real work.

                  • I watched Disney's animated Little Mermaid last night, and it only drove home the idea Disney's given us questionable morals for years.

Ariel, why the **** did you change for someone who barely knew you existed?

Someone on TikTok pointed out that Ursula was actually helping Ariel as she tried to woo Prince Eric. Ursula took Ariel's voice, which helped Ariel not be as weird when talking with Eric. How turned off would he have been if she started talking about dinglehoppers at the dinner table?

Also, Ursula gave Ariel human legs that matched her skin tone. Ursula easily could have just given Ariel goat legs and called the contract complete.

The original is superb and also the inspiration for the best Critical Race Theory paper I have ever read.

Maybe I'd have to re-watch but memory tells me LA Story wasn't nearly as saccharine as the others?
