Wow. I didn't know people like crusade. I thought it was terrible. I can only watch the first 2 raiders movies, and the 2nd is a stretch.

Raiders and Last Crusade. Everything else can be forgotten.

The ones that suck both do because of too much Lucas. Remember, he wanted Indiana Jones to be a space pulp cowboy whatever. It took other people to rework his original idea into something much better. He also originally wanted Star Wars to be about space pulp wizard cowboys, and there too other helped mold it into something better. The guy had the same dumb idea twice and both times luckily others changed it into something better.

Generally true that the more Lucas is involved in something the more it sucks.

After 1978, if he was the writer, it blew. If he only wrote the story, it had a 50:50 chance. And honestly, after Raiders, the only good film he had any hand in writing (story or full credit) was Crusade. Everything else was a disaster. Dude struck lighting with Star Wars, Graffiti, Raiders, and Empire.

Now that I'm looking at the rest of his credits, even as an executive producer, after Raiders you basically have Labyrinth and Land Before Time as films with a 50%+ Tomatometer. Woof.

not sure what mookie thought of it. Really liked the first with boseman (even though again as told before had no idea what it was and honestly thought it was going to be about the black panthers and late 60s when he bought the ticket).

The most confusing part of the Indiana Jones trailer for many people is figuring out why Indy is fighting their heroes. It's almost as if they're the bad guys.

The new trailer for Rise of the Beasts was just released. I was astonished to see it was a new Transformers film and not a documentary about Twitter since Elon bought it and unleashed all the hate trolls back onto the platform.

My gf comes from an upper upper middle class family...I never seem to get a new Mercedez for Christmas. And she wonders why I hate the holidays ;^)
